Runcorn Station lies on Shaw Street, just a couple of minutes’ drive off the A557. It can be found between the station’s multi storey car park (car park 1) and station car park 2 which offers close access to nearby bus stops.

Runcorn Station has plenty of attractions and modern conveniences including the Hotel Campanile Runcorn, Inflata Nation Inflatable Park Cheshire, and stores including a Co-operative Food supermarket on Balfour Street and a Premier convenience store along Greenway Road.

Runcorn station is only minutes from the A557. A taxi rank is situated directly outside the station's entrance, bus stops are just a few minutes walk away and bicycle storage is available for up to 16 bicycles. Two station car parks provide parking for over 450 vehicles including 11 spaces for blue badge holders.

The closest airport is Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which can be reached in just over half an hour by rail and bus, and in roughly 15 minutes by car when using the toll road.
